Andréine Bel discovered in 1971 the “natural instinctive” movement from the teachings of Japanese Seitai (Itsuo Tsuda) and the "free dance" of François Malkovsky. She was initiated to Reboutage (bone-setting) in 1980 by Étienne Chambonnet in Le Puy-en-Velay. At the same time, her apprenticeship in Kathak dance under the direction of Pandit Birju Maharaj, in India, made her place sensation at the heart of gesture. In 1996, from Seitai and Reboutage, she developed Yukido in France, a practice she termed as one of “domestic care”. From 2005, she ran experimental and cooperative research workshops in dance and Yukido. These two creative activities enriched each other thanks to the role accorded to listening to sensations and the “involuntary”. She practices today in the Var.
